Position Summary
The Security & Concierge team at BOHO X is responsible for delivering a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all staff, employees, and visitors. This role blends professional security duties with high‑level concierge support, acting as the most front‑facing representative of the game studio. The postholder must be welcoming, professional, and astute, ensuring every interaction reflects Double 11’s values of humanity, integrity, and ambition. Working within a highly diverse community, the Security Concierge will provide inclusive and culturally aware support while managing access control, monitoring site activity, responding as the first responder to incidents, and upholding exceptional service standards.
This position follows a 4‑on, 4‑off shift rotation consisting of four consecutive shifts followed by four days off.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide a professional, customer‑focused security and concierge service to all staff, employees, and visitors.
• Maintain a welcoming presence at reception areas, assisting with enquiries and supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Serve as the most front‑facing representative of the game studio, ensuring professionalism and astuteness at all times.
• Monitor CCTV, conduct site patrols, and ensure all security protocols are consistently followed.
• Manage access control systems, including issuing passes and supporting visitor and contractor sign‑in/out procedures while ensuring compliance with site security requirements.
• Receive, log, and distribute parcels in a secure and organised manner.
• Act as the first responder in any incident, ensuring swift, safe, and appropriate action.
• Prepare accurate written incident reports, logs, and records.
• Build positive relationships with staff, employees, and stakeholders to promote trust, inclusivity, and community cohesion.
• Support safeguarding principles and identify any concerns.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Observational skills with the ability to identify risks and respond appropriately.

• Competent in using security systems including CCTV and access control.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Ability to adapt communication style to meet diverse needs.
Qualifications
• Customer service principles
• SIA/security‑related training or qualifications – desirable (training can be provided).
• First Aid at Work – preferred.
• Safeguarding training – desirable.
• Previous experience in a concierge, security, or public‑facing role is advantageous.
